This journey on the Camino has been very impactful in a lot of ways. We have gotten to meet a lot of people and have learned about their path and why they are on the Camino. One of them was this amazing Irish woman named Carol who impacted me in a big way. I have big dreams and aspirations and one of them is to reach people and help them; little did I expect to be the one reached out to and helped.

She encouraged me in my walk with the Lord and the gifts He has for me.

The next day we ran into her again at a Cafe with two other Irish ladies. We were at that time discussing where God had called us to after the Camino and these amazing women stepped in and started telling us how inspired they were by us and our faith. They started encouraging us and asking us questions about ourselves. We started to pray over them and one of them broke down in tears saying she was so broken-hearted and she felt God healing her. It was so amazing to see how God used our group to light up these women's lives and to have them encourage us on our journey.

 It has helped me know that all the pain from walking miles on end is worth it because we show Jesus’s light to others.
